Guide to Apprenticeships

Our Fashion Advanced Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work for a real employer, earn a real salary whilst gaining valuable workplace skills, experience and ultimately an accredited qualification.

Anyone living in England, over 16 years old and not in full-time education can apply to be an apprentice in the Fashion Industry.

Retail is a constantly evolving and dynamic industry which now combines etail and bricks-and-mortar retail together. Both forms of selling are equalling challenging and therefore Fashion-Enter has created a unique blended way of teaching that allows learners to acquire all the salient knowledge, behaviours and skills that is right for today's industry.

Aided by the opening of a dedicated retail unit Fashion-Enter has a live learning opportunity for all learners so they have a real education in consumer psychology and buying patterns, assess and review how primary and secondary locations affect sales and stock turn, create merchandise displays in store and learn the value of point of sales marketing as well reacting and working with consumers directly.

The courses are from level 2 Retailer Standard to level 3 Retail Team Leader and provide the hands on experience that is required for a successful career in today's ever changing retail sector.

We work closely with a wide range of employers in the Fashion Industry including ASOS, Marks & Spencer, New Look, Hobbs and Jigsaw. During your apprenticeship you will typically work at least 30 hours per week with your employer.

After qualifying, the majority of apprentices (85%) will stay in employment, with two-thirds (64%) staying with the same employer. A Fashion Apprenticeship offers the chance of a REAL future in the fashion industry.

The Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship programme is a unique combination of training and career specific work experience. The apprentice will be working with one employer for the entire course therefore providing an opportunity for both the employer and the individual to develop a long and sustainable relationship.

The minimum entry requirement to gain access to the qualification is four C grades at GCSE level, the equivalent or professional experience and to be committed to the interview process.
