Retail Apprenticeships

Within the fashion sector there are many jobs, roles and responsibilities that requires retail & team leader expertise.


At Fashion-Enter both the production and education teams have many many years of retail expertise that is specific to the wide variety of different job roles within the industry. The FTA has created new retailer and retail team leader apprenticeship courses that are perfect for anyone wanting to work in the retail sector of the fashion industry.

The courses review core areas that include performance goal setting, motivation of staff to encourage contributions to base line KPIs, listening and mentoring skills, how to handle conflicts appropriately, effective communication skills and how to exude professionalism whilst relating to traditional management theories such as classical, scientific, systems, contingency, Theory X and Theory Y.

Educational factory tours

We offer educational site visits to the factory for cohorts of students at all levels to experience an ethical UK garment manufacturer and gain an understanding of the complete production process.


APPRENTICESHIPS

LEVEL 2

Certificate in Apparel, Footwear, Leather or Textile Production (500/6576/2)


This apprenticeship is made up of both onsite learning at Fashion Enter and work-based learning. With the support of a training provider units can be selected to create a tailored training package suitable for the required role.

LEVEL 2

Certificate in Manufacturing Sewn Products (500/5962/2)


With the rise of on-shoring of garment manufacturing back to the UK the Certificate in Manufacturing Sewn Products is an excellent course to introduce machinists, quality control assistants and fabric cutters.

LEVEL 3

Certificate in Apparel Manufacturing Technology (500/5454/5)


Pathways: Garment Technologist, Sample Technologist or Pattern and Grader Technologist.

This apprenticeship is made up of both college and work-based learning. With the support of a training provider units can be selected to create a tailored training package suitable for the required role.

LEVEL 3

Diploma in Apparel, Footwear, or Leather Production (501/0088/9)


This apprenticeship is made up of both college and work-based learning. With the support of a training provider units can be selected to create a tailored training package suitable for the required role.

LEVEL 4

Diploma in Technical Textiles – Product Sourcing and Development (601/1784/9)


This is not a funded apprenticeship programme and is a combination of both training at Fashion Enter and work-based learning. With the support of Fashion Enter units can be selected to create a tailored training package suitable for the required role for the employer.
